Why This Million Dollar Dip Beats the Rest!
- Better Crunch: My Million Dollar Dip uses freshly shredded cheddar and slivered almonds for the perfect mix of creamy and crunchy.
- Flavor That Gets Better: This dip’s flavor gets better as it chills, so you can make it ahead and it’ll taste even better the next day!
- Simplicity Without Sacrifice: My Neiman Marcus Dip comes together in minutes and has the perfect balance of rich, salty, and savory flavors.
Million Dollar Dip Ingredients

- Almonds: Toast your almonds before for maximum nutty flavor.
- Cheese: Use freshly shredded cheddar for the best taste and texture. You can also use aged Gouda or Gruyere.
- Flavor Boosts: Add extra flavor with 1 Tablespoon ranch seasoning, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, or a few dashes of hot sauce!
- Mayonnaise: You can substitute mayo for sour cream, cream cheese, or Greek yogurt. I have found that mayonnaise works best.

Low fat recipes would be great!
Loved by all at football watch party. Strong flavor with extra sharp cheddar. I added sweet corn and cayenne to taste. Multiple requests for recipe. Never would have thought to add slivered almonds, but yes, a good add.
I would definitely make this again. It’s pretty tasty and easy to make. I did shred the block of cheese and cook up the bacon. It was good on wheat thins, but any cracker or even celery would work.
Worse recipe ever, glad I only had a small group of people over, yuck yuck yuck!
This is an old school recipe that is still popular today, I brought it to a potluck and the younger ppl loved it! Didn’t have to persuade us seniors, we have always loved it!
I grew up on this but in a different way: This is amazing spread on some lightly toasted bread and then tossed under the broiler until it just starts to brown.
That sounds delicious!
So good. I’ve made this for a games night we’re having tomorrow. I thought I’d let the flavours come together overnight. The only thing I did different is that I also added fresh lime juice and pepper. It’s really really good. Looking forward to hearing what our friends think. My husband wants to eat the whole bowl right now lol.
It was a hit!!! Made it for two events and people devoured it! It’s a keeper!
Could you use half sour cream half yogurt?
It will change the flavor a bit but it will work.
Made this for a ladies event and as soon as they tasted it, everyone wanted the recipe! So simple and delicious!
Do you think this dip would still be good, if froze it? Thank you!
This dip is best when served fresh. I wouldn’t recommend freeing this dip.
I’ve made it and everyone loved it. But I’m not a fan of mayo can I use sour cream or yogurt instead??
Yes, of course!
OMG !!! This is like Crack!!! So delicious and addicting that my friends and I can’t get enough.
Can this dip be made a day ahead?
Yes! Just give it a good stir before serving.
Made it today, followed all measurements of ingredients…all I could taste was onion and bacon, made me nauseous…chilled for about 3 hours
If you toasted/roasted the almonds, that would really add more flavor to the dip
Great idea!
This dip is great! One taste and I was hooked. Been making this every New Years and it’s always a hit!
