It will. It may stain the color a purple/blueish color since it is fresh and a little more watery.

Soooooooo, I used four pie crusts and made 8 hand pies all of which are currently in the oven. I used fresh blueberries so this could be the source of my issue but it seems like it wouldn’t have fit at all in a folded over quarter. I am anxiously awaiting how they turn out but would definitely say this recipe is not meant for fresh fruit. Wish me luck. ??
