They were very tasty!
Didn’t brown very well. I cooked for an extra 5 min and raised the temp to 500 in the Traeger. They still didn’t look as nice and brown as your pictures. I followed the recipe and sprayed with olive oil before baking. They were great, even without bring as pretty as pictured!

Not 3 small, or 2 large, it only took 1 huge garden zucchini to make one extra large cookie sheet. Can’t wait to taste!

I’ve been cooking for 50 years. I did not mix the panko and eggs. My Zucchini was dry. The eggwash does not fully stick to the floured sticks. And please let me know a magical way to dip the egg-coated sticks into panko without egg mixing with the panko. What you have pictured here looks like FINE GROUND panko, or it’s regular breadcrumbs. I’d love to see a video of you making this recipe exactly as you have written it.

Hi Susan, I’m so sorry these didn’t turn out for you. I understand how frustrating that can be. Did you add the panko to the egg mixture? If you try it again, I would make sure you pat the zucchini dry with a paper towel before coating in flower. Then you want to dip them in the egg mixture and let any excess drip off before you dip it in the panko mixture. I definitely used panko.

Egg wash did not adhere to floured Zucchini sticks. Panko mixture became thick and gloppy. Sure doesn’t look like panko in the photo. So disappointed.

Hey Daisy, thank you for the question! I love your name, by the way! You can definitely try using a wire rack! I use a regular baking sheet and they come out just fine.

The air fryer zucchini fries will be a little more crispy, but I think the baked version is just as delicious! ?
