Made this tonight for supper. I omitted the sausage & the salt & pepper & added 2 cups of cottage cheese to the middle layer. I will be making this again, possibly even as a freezer meal.

My family thought it needed more flavor. Maybe fennel, or spicy Italian sausage. I felt the pasta was too much; maybe half pound or 3/4 pound at most.

To clarify, step 6. You say layer with half the pasta, then layer with half the pasta?? Do you mean put cheese in between those two layers? You don’t day that. Looks great going to try this recipe, thanks

Looks soooo good! I’m going to try this tonight but I’m going to add some ricotta in the cheese layers and see how it comes out. Funny, my husband just said yesterday he was craving lasagna but this is so much easier! Love all your recipes and use them often!
