I liked the recipe, although would recommend less butter (surprisingly). Going to try half a stick next time!

I used the dried onion soup mix tonight and kept everything else the same. The rice was delicious!!

The flavor is delicious but the rice was a little mushy for my taste. Next time I will reduce the amount of broth.

I got a bit of a variation… instead of the beef broth and french onion soup, I used two 8.25oz cartons of unsalted chicken stock, 1 envelope of Golden Onion soup mix and about 1/3 cup of water. Overall a fun recipe to keep in my arsenal!

Yes, as long as it’s cooked. I like to use shredded rotisserie chicken for easy prep!

This needs to be baked in a regular oven!
