Good base recipe. I didn’t have hoisin sauce, so I used oyster sauce/brown sugar at a 3:1 ratio. Added ginger at the same time as garlic in a 1:1 ratio. Used garlic chili sauce, because that’s what I had on hand and doubled it; gotta have that spice! Use. greens from our garden, put turkey mixture on top, and added sliced Thai basil and crushed peanuts. Delicious!!! Hubby had me print out the original recipe and add my change notes.

This was INCREDIBLE!! I worried I didn’t have hoisin sauce on hand but it was buried behind several other sauce bottles in my fridge LOL.

I omitted the mushrooms and water chestnuts but added red peppers. This was so delicious and I divided the leftovers to share with my family and also keep a surprise container of it in my freezer for when I invariably forget that I have delicious meals for when we are busy with kid activities.
