Lora, you put 1 Tablespoon of the apple filing in the center of the cupcake batter in the cupcake tin, before they are baked.

Did you make a hole in the cupcake to put the apple filling?

Not a stupid question at all! Yes, muffin and cupcake tins are the same thing. And correct, you will need to add more filling! When using a larger muffin tin you may need to add on a few minutes of cooking time so they cook all the way through.

I don’t bake often so I’m going to ask a stupid question. Your recipe says to use a muffin tin. Is a cupcake tin the same thing? Also, if I wanted to use a large/jumbo muffin tin, would I just double the amount of apple filling? Thanks for your help ?

Depends on how tart you want the filling to be! I always like to use Granny Smith but if you want something sweeter, I recommend Honeycrisp.

You can refrigerate them for up to 7 days, but I don’t recommend freezing them.
