This is delicious! I used only brown sugar and used only 1/3 of a cup for the filling. I also added reduced apple cider – 1 1/2 c reduced to 1/2 cup and added it with the lemon juice. Be careful, that cider will boil over.

This is my favorite apple crisp recipe so far! Unfortunately I didn’t have enough pecans so I mixed in walnuts. It was still delicious but I can’t wait to make it again with pecans only! Thanks

I would presume that you would add the oats at the same time you add the flour, sugar, etc.
