We have a garden and sometimes a zucchini gets to big , lots of bread but I had one large piece left over and made your recipe! Delish with the home made ranch dressing! Easy easy easy

Excellent recipe! I added a little more garlic and some Adobe.

For the dip sauce I combined the ranch dip mix with sour cream…game changer! Thanks for sharing! We devoured them quickly and waiting patiently for more zucchini in the garden to be ready to make more. I’ll try this for green tomatoes soon too.

These are AMAZING! I used gluten free flour & gluten free panko to make a gluten free version. I did use 1 tsp of seasoning salt instead of 1/2 tsp regular salt. Next time I may add a bit of salt & garlic powder to the flour as well. I used the left over breading on some cauliflower chunks as well & they were also delicious!

This breading is very versatile! The seasonings can be changed up to whatever you like. I’m planning to replace the Italian seasoning with lemon pepper (due to hubby’s preferences) & use to coat fish fillets. Also am planning to try onion rings & mozerella sticks. So excited to enjoy GF versions of some of my favorite foods, many which have not been an option to me in the past several years!

Great fried zucchini! I made it in my oven air fryer and it was fabulous. I cooked about 5 minutes longer because my zucchini wasn’t as cooked as i liked. The panko stayed crunchy even hours after making them.

Hi Ang!
You can freeze them before they are cooked by preparing them through step 5, laying them on a parchment-lined baking sheet and freezing for 3-4 hours before transferring to a freezer bag. Cook them from frozen for 5 minutes at 390 degrees Fahrenheit in the air fryer.

Or

You can freeze your zucchini fries after they are baked. Wait for them to cool, then place them in an airtight container or Ziploc bag. Cook them from frozen for 3-4 minutes at 390 degrees Fahrenheit in the air fryer.

They can be kept in the freezer for 1 month.

I hope this helps!
