Hi Muriel, thank you for your question. Yes but I would imagine it would take longer to cook fully. Check the internal temperature at 30 minutes and add more time if needed. Just make sure your chicken’s internal temperature reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit before you eat it. Let me know how it turns out!

First Air Fryer Chicken… I am no novice and know my way around a kitchen.

This chicken is dang! You should call it Dang! Chicken. It’s so good!

The bird is so juicy and seasoned nicely, with great ‘roasted’ chicken flavor. The skin was rendered and crunchy

I cooked a 4-5 pound whole chicken at 360, with the Air Fry option, in a Midea 5-qrt Double Air Fryer.

This is a game changer.

I have used this recipe every single week for the last two to three months now! No matter the size of chicken I follow the cook time to the T. Only last week should I have done about 5 minutes more (it was a massive bird to feed a teenage boy too).
The only variation on the rub is I may add chilli flakes or may not.

It is absolutely amazing, every single time!

I’ve never been one to rest chicken but I have to here for sure ‘cause after that hour it’s still sooooo juicy and I’ve lost all those by carving too quickly before.

10/10 recipe!!
