As a man who basically grills or smokes his meals every weekend I was skeptical to throw a steak in the air fryer , I did today and was not disappointed , did 400 at 10 mins 5 each side and came out lil brown outside pretty pink inside , thanks

I’m sorry your steak was tough. I would recommend starting with even less time, your air fryer might cook quicker. Check the steak and then add more time accordingly.

Cyndy, I’m sorry your steak turned out tough. That is so frustrating. Air fryers can be so temperamental and different from one to the next. I would recommend, cooking for less time in the future and checking the doneness, before putting it back in to cook the rest of the way if needed.
