Love the fluffy, lightness that sour cream and 7-up (or Sprite) gives it but learned after 1st try that 1/2 cup of soda is waaaayyyyy too much. Video suggests 1/4 cup which was much better. Either make sure your Bisquick is new or use regular flour/baking powder/baking soda combo to get the rise in the biscuits. Will try again but have definitely had to play with it a lot to get it the way I like it. It’s worth trying though. Good flavor and definitely light and fluffy.

I cut little squares with a knife , looked in the oven 5 minutes later and they were thrice the size lol
